So apparently, I've decided to stop living paycheck to paycheck and join the exclusive club of people who’re actually saving for retirement rather than relegating life to instant noodles and despair. Given that my current retirement strategy is pretty much hoping to win the lottery or stumble upon a genie, what is the most foolproof, non-magical method to grow my measly savings into enough cash to eventually trade in my cubicle for a hammock?
I’d love to hear some seriously legit advice—something other than “just invest in index funds” (okay, index funds, you win this round) or “live like a monk.” If there’s a sweet spot between being a responsible adult and still enjoying the occasional donut, please enlighten me so I can retire without having to auction off my prized comic book collection for subsistence. Thanks in advance for saving me from a future of frugality-induced doom!
